Treat Yo Self originated by Shannen in 2013 as a Hair Salon in Lake Munmorah, NSW. Shan worked incredibly hard to grow and evolve her business for many years, building a huge customer base and providing locals with the very best services. In 2021, despite set backs with COVID lockdown and shop closures, Shan decided to reach out to Australian owned businesses and create a collaboration of local goods including self care products, gifts and kidswear and extend the business into retail which is when Treat Yo Self Hair, Lifestyle and Self Care came to life.

Starting off with a small range of products in the salon, we recieved amazing sales and feedback from the community and knew we were headed in the right direction. Ashlee, former Dental Assistant, thought this was the perfect oppurtunity to per-sue a life long dream of owning a business of her own. With Shannen under pressure, managing both business’s during COVID aswell as a growing family, this seemed like a perfect opportunity and even better, doing it with a sister & best friend. 

Our twin dynamic is hard to match. It’s rare to find a duo that not only instinctively understand each other's visions and design aesthetic, but share the core values that propel us to keep finding better ways to do things. We push each other to the edge of design and inspire each other to balance our unique blend of style and personality, with a range that doesn’t cost the Earth.

Our buisness has continued to grow and we have LOVED providing our community and followers with quailty goods and services and aim to always support and source all our products from Australian owned businesses, whilst we do our best to keep things environmentally friendly.

A Hair Salon and Lifestyle store.. the perfect little oasis for our community to indulge in self care and retail therapy.  It remains our mission to ensure you look and feel good!
